Listen to the coaching. I have benefited enormously from great coaching throughout my career, and I used to wish I had bumped into these folks earlier. I could have developed more quickly from the outset. When I reflect back now, though, I see that good advice has pretty much always been available. My gap is more often one of reception than transmission. So I think I'd tell the younger me to toggle off the "play button" and toggle on "record."
